Why I'm (Re)Committing To Writing Daily
My reasons for (re)committing to write daily for 30 days and the steps I'm taking to overcome my prior failures.
For the 3rd occasion, I've committed to Ship 30 for 30 - a cohort based daily writing challenge.
While I did not complete the challenge on each prior occasion, due to unexpected, personal/professional commitments, here's why I'm doing this challenge now & what to expect from my writing.
First, failure has been an important foundation for growth throughout my life.
On each prior occasion, while I didn't complete the challenge, what I learned during the experience drastically improved how I communicate through writing - as well as how I script videos.
Second, so much has changed both personally and professionally since the last time I did this challenge over 2 years ago.
Much of my writing will focus on these learning experiences and in particular what I've learned when it comes to using AI.
Lastly, with my kids growing older, I want to share publicly some of the things that I've been exploring to help my kids be more digitally and financially literate.
I'm hoping that some of these exercises will be of help others in my network facing these same struggles as parents.
So for the next 30 days, I'll be writing daily on
1. how businesses can benefit from AI-enhanced legal advice
2. strategies that help lawyers build practices aligned with their wellness.
3. how parents/teachers can encourage greater digital and financial literacy in youth.
Now in doing this challenge, I'm not going to pretend I'm the world's foremost expert.
I'm simply sharing what I've learned.
